A Section 8 Company is a type of non-profit organization registered under the Companies Act, 2013. It is meant to promote charitable activities and other activities of a public interest. It is a corporate form of legal entity and enjoys the same legal rights and status as any other company under the same Act. The process of registration for a Section 8 company involves the following steps – 

  1. We help the applicant to obtain a name from the Ministry of Corporate Affairs (MCA).
  2. We guide the applicant to draft the Memorandum of Association (MOA) and Articles of Association (AOA).
  3. Then, the applicant should obtain the DIN and DSC of the proposed directors.
  4. We guide the applicant to file its application with the ROC.
  5. After which, The ROC shall process the application and may require more information or documents as deemed necessary.
  6. Upon satisfaction, the ROC will issue the Certificate of Incorporation and the Section 8 Company will be registered.
